School nursing is an exciting and challenging nursing specialty. To assist new school nurses (0-2 years in the field) developing their roles, skills, and satisfaction with their careers, IASN offers a mentoring program. This is a free service offered as a benefit of membership in the organization.

The Mentorship Program consists of two parts. First is the Information Packet. It contains information that will be helpful in work as a school nurse.   To download the information packet, click here – Mentorship-Information-PacketRv10.17 The second part of the program is linking the new nurse with an experienced, endorsed school nurse to serve as her mentor for the school year.
