Description:
The nurse works directly with students to provide health services needed during the school day; works with teachers, staff and administrators in order to achieve the district goals, department goals, objectives and philosophy; develops and maintains effective communication with parents.
The School Nurse is a full-time, 12-month position.
Qualifications:
Candidate will possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license, Illinois Certification as a Vision and Hearing Screening Technician, Red Cross certification as an instructor in CPR-AED, experience with special needs students and the flexibility to work special events and summer school are highly desirable.
