The IASN School Nurse Hill Day is an opportunity for school nurses to gather together to advocate for policy that betters school nursing and the nursing profession as a whole. This event allows school nurses to hear more about nursing issues and identify opportunities to influence healthcare policy.

There is no cost associated with attending School Nurse Hill Day.

2.0 Contact Hours will be awarded to those participants who meet the successful completion requirements.

Schedule of events – 

12:00-12:30 PM –  Meet at the Capitol in Springfield
12:30-1:00 PM – Advocacy/Grassroots Update with Capitol Edge Consulting
1:00 PM – Tour the Capitol and meet with Legislators
5:30 PM – Legislative Reception Dinner – includes registration fee

A Legislative Reception Dinner will be held later in the evening at Saputo’s in Springfield. The cost to attend is $35.
