Position: Long Term Substitute for School Nurse
Start Date: Position runs from approximately February 2021 through beginning of May 2021
Qualifications:
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing
– Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required
– Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
– Prior professional nursing experience in pediatric, adolescent, community, or mental health nursing a plus
Responsibilities:
– Provides direct professional nursing services, first aid, illness, and emergency care to students and staff.
– Identifies health problems, makes referrals for diagnosis and treatment, provides follow up, evaluation and maintains appropriate documentation
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and education
