Location: 1401 Greenwood Road, Glenview, IL 60026
Position: Part-Time Nurse
Description:
Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) needed for the 2022-23 school year.
Nurse needed to support student needs. This will include seizure management with emergency medication and g tube feedings. Nurse may be assigned to a student within a classroom, working within a team of teacher, paraprofessionals, OT/PT, and speech pathologist, OR the nurse may be assigned to the main office to support health operations.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the building administrator of assigned school and District
Nurse Supervisor.
Location: Located in the assigned school(s).
Qualifications & Experience:
● Licensed Nurse in the State of Illinois (LPN or RN)
● First Aid and CPR certification
● Previous pediatric and adolescent experience preferred
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Salary Range: $25.00-$45.00 per hour depending on licensure and experience.
Working Conditions:
Part-time (0.5 FTE), mid-day, 10-month position during the school year (starting September
2022 through June 2023).
*This position requires the ability to physically manipulate students as needed including lifting,
transferring and assisting ill or injured students. Also requires good vision and hearing ability in
order to observe and document possible illness or injury.
