Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist in Rapid and PCR testing for students and adults
• Tend to the injuries and illnesses of students and adults on campus and determine if further care is needed
• Assist routine medical needs of students; safeguard medication supply and account for students that require medication on a regular basis, if requested by the student’s parents; notify parents of low medication supply for prescription refills
• Assist with maintaining and monitoring the school’s emergency information database for students including health records and immunization records; hold personal medical and health needs confidential
• Notify parents of immunization or vaccination requirements and collect online documents
• Complete student and employee accident reports; act as a worker’s compensation interface as needed
• Serve as first aid team member during an emergency
• Provide accurate and consistent communication with families, administrators and colleagues regarding student and employee medical concerns or issues

Qualifications:
• Possession of a current EMT license and/or Nursing Assistant Certification and up-to-date CPR qualification
• Ability to communicate rapidly and effectively with all constituents in a school environment
• Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Drive
• Collaborative, team player, confident in front of large groups and public speaking

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20-22/hour

Schedule:
• 7:30 am-Noon
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:
• EMT license or Certified Nursing Assistant
Shift availability:
• Day Shift (Required)

Work Location: One location
