Position – 1:1 Registered Nurse/LPN
Location – Warren Township High School – Gurnee, IL
Qualifications:
- Degree in nursing from accredited school
- School nurse experience preferred
- Experience with students with disabilities preferred
- Current RN/LPN Illinois License
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Communication and customer service skills
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide all direct nursing services and care to student and other support services identified in the IEP.
- Assist with implementation of classroom activities and provide tutoring to student as needed in class setting.
- Accompany and supervise student on bus as needed.
- Maintain health records.
- Assist nursing staff as directed for special projects.
- Provide personal care for the student including toileting, hygiene and feeding.
- Use equipment according to prescribed safety guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
