DESCRIPTION:The Essential Toolkit: POTS\, FND\, PNES\, hEDS \nThe project aims to provide a continuing education resource for school nurses through the creation of an electronic tool kit which can be used by the school nurse as a resource for managing student needs as well as to educate administrators\, school staff (including teachers and the 504 team)\, students\, and their families on POTS\, FND\, PNES\, and hEDS. The electronic toolkit will be an easily accessible resource for school nurses to utilize that includes an individualized health care plan template modifiable for each condition\, an emergency response guide\, a school accommodations guide for 504/IEP plans\, a disease process\, signs and symptoms\, diagnostics\, common treatment overview via a quick reference guide\, a visual symptoms chart\, and parent educational handouts upon learning diagnosis.
