IASN Town Hall Meeting – COVID Testing in Schools

Speaker: Kelli Kalata, RN, PEL-CSN, M.Ed

“I have been the Certified District Nurse in La Grange School District for 11 years. I received my school nurse certification and M.Ed (with a concentration in school health) from National Louis University. Prior to the wonderful world of school nursing, I focused on cardiology and pediatrics.  At district 102, I oversee the health services program and promotion of health education. Additionally, I advocate for healthcare in the school environment by serving as a liaison between school staff, families, health professionals, and the community. While the pandemic has brought on its challenges, I still look forward to coming to work every day.”
