Lois Frels Mini Grant Award

The award was established in 2002 to recognize IASN members for project development. The first award was presented at the 2002 Rend Lake Annual Meeting to Nila Hawkins, for researching and writing "Elementary School System's No-nit Policy and Outcome."

 

After graduating from Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing, Dr. Frels went on to earn a BSN from Augustana College, a MA from the University of Iowa, and a PhD in Education with elements of Public Health Nursing and Psychology.  The Research Committee is composed of : Paula Lichtenstein (NE), Chairman, Irene Dorfman (NL), and Lisa Gratz (NE) .

The deadline for applying is July 15.
