NASN kicked off a membership drive that is running from 11/01/09 through 03/30/10 where a 2010 Conference Package will be given to a current member and a member they recruit!

We are very excited about this campaign and again ask for your support in getting the word out.   Thank you to those who have already published information to your Web sites, print communications and email communications.

2. The attached campaign graphics can be used in your newsletter or on your Web site.  One has a transparent background should your Web site's background be any color other than white.  If you need a higher resolution, please let us know.

IASN Membership Form (located on NASN web site) .

There are seven membership classifications for IASN.

• An Active member is an IL Registered Professional Nurse (RN) who holds a Type 73 School Service Personnel Certificate, School Nurse Endorsement; is employed directly by an IL public or private school or Education Service Region or is a Coordinator or faculty member of a Type 73 School Nurse Certification Program.
• An Associate member is one who does not meet all the criteria for Active membership but is an IL RN.
• A Retired member is one who has retired from school nursing but wishes to maintain membership in IASN.
• A Life Retired member is a retired member who has chosen to pay a one-time lump sum dues payment.
• A Student member is one who is either an IL RN serving a Type 73 school nurse internship; or is enrolled in a Type 73 school nurse certification program; or is enrolled in a BSN program.
• A Corporate/Business/Professional Organization membership is for the purpose of those organizations who desire to support the goals of IASN.
• A Member at Large is an individual who holds a special interest or is working with IASN and does not fit into any other corporate membership classification.

Anniversary Membership
The individual membership year is the anniversary month in which dues are paid. Dues include membership in IASN, NASN and the Division.

2007-2008 unified dues FOR IASN/NASN:

• Active and Associate memberships: $146
• Retired membership: $93
• Student membership: $87

Division Dues are $10.00 for every membership category.

Dues are inclusive for National (NASN), State (IASN) and Local (Division), and are made payable to the National Association of School Nurses (NASN).
