Lake County Street Gangs
The purpose of this presentation is to educate medical personnel on the current issues surrounding gang activity in Lake County and identify how this information relates to health care.
Objectives:
1 Recognize gang symbols and communication
2. Discuss background, history, and expectations of gang-impacted individuals
3. Identify the risks gang members face
4. Discuss the role of the care provider when caring for a person with gang affiliations

Free educational offering with contact hours and CPDU’s for members.
There will be a $5.00 charge for non-members.
Advocate Health Care is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
